Support to Flood Affected areas in Yen Dinh District in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam:

Due to heavy rainfall in between 5th Sep’12 to 9th Sep’12, the dams on Cau Chay River were damaged and water flowed into Yen Giang and Yen Tam Villages.

Almost all the houses got flooded and many got swept away. Lives were also lost.

Schools in 4 of the Villages also got flooded and the students lost all books and note-books.

Total loss is estimated to be at 137.000.000.000VND ( USD 6.57 million).

Mr.Rikhi Thakral, the Founder of In SEWA supported the affected schools with 500 charity bags consisting of Books, Note Books, Pencils.

Rice and Mosquito Nets Donation at Saythany district, Laos. There is lot of poverty in 7 villages of Saythany District, Laos. Morever, people are dying due to dengue. Mr.Rikhi Thakral, the Founder of In SEWA supported 92 families from 7 villages in Saythany district, Laos, with 1,104 kgs of Rice ( 12 kgs per family x 92 Families ) and 184 mosquito nets ( 2 per family ).

Water Tank Donation at Dongkhoy Primary School, Laos:

In order to provide clean drinking water to the students of Dongkhoy Primary School in Laos, Mr.Rikhi Thakral, the Founder of In SEWA supported the school with a Water Tank fitted with filter.
